Sharon Inn - Kandy

Had dinner at Sharon Inn after hearing rave reviews. The buffet was fantastic, especially the curry options! The owner was super friendly, even serenading us with his guitar. A lovely, cozy experience!

Possibly the best and good stay with very good service. Quiet location, just a walk down to everywhere. And only a 5-minute walk from Kandy View Point:)))

Huge and clean rooms with a view over the valley and exceptional service. Variety of meals for breakfast, including tea, toast, fruit, and eggs...

Had a sweet as time, but the dining took ages to serve. The view from the rooftop was unbeatable! Chur for that!

The hotel's facilities are desperately in need of updates. The furniture is old and dusty, and the bathroom had persistent water leakage issues. I faced an alarming incident when monkeys broke into the room, which could have been prevented by a simple curtain for the balcony door. There was a significant level of noise from other guests and poor sound insulation, made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Plus, the overall accessibility is compromised due to the steep stairs. This place isn't a good fit for someone who isn't ready to hike up.

So, i thought i booked a lovely twin room, yet was given a single room instead. The check-in was utterly lacking, with no one to greet me. And, to top it off, monkeys invaded! Honestly, if i had received some proper treatment, i might've given a good review, but alas. Such disappointment.

Great place with strong wi-fi, free parking, and 24-hour security. The staff once helped me find a lost item. I recommend trying their dinner buffet for a good experience. I'm coming back for a city break.
